Best boots I have ever owned

I have had my Marauder Boots for about six years now, and they are the best par of boots i have ever owned. When I put them on it is like putting on a par of track shoes. I wear them everywhere I go. I was told once that they would fall apart in a year. Don't belive what you hear. I am verry hard on these boots and they are still going strong. Although they will not hold a shine anymore but that is because I wear them for everything. If you are looking for a great par of boots i reccomend getting a par you won't regret it

Corcoran 10 Marauder Boot

Purchased for summer use, as the National Park Service requires us to wear Cordovan Brown footwear. After spending the first summer in a pair of Chippewa Fire/logging boots at 120F temps on asphalt during the Sturgis Black Hills Rally. I asked the Cheif if I could purchase these boots and give them a try during the worst of the summer. The ok given I strapped them on, can honestly say they are lite, breath good (once broke in,)(not as good as my old panama version Jungles but still great) and are flat enough to stand on asphalt or concrete for long periods of time. Only thing I would change is a lug style sole. However the cushion of the softer rubber is good, as with any GOOD CORCORAN boot, the break in is rough, but thats how I know Ive got a good pair that will be with me for the long haul..

Great Boots

These boots are great! they take no time to break in and they are comfrotable all day long. I have used these boots in the office and on patrol and they work great for walking, running or doing paperwork at the office.

Best Patrol boots....except for wet weather...

I bought my first pair of these boots in August 2001. When I started my law enforcement career. I had worn corcoran jump boots in the Army and decided to give these a boots a try. I wasn't dissapointed in the least. Little to no break-in required, near perfect comfort and they keep my feet cool .They are barnone the most comfortable and durable boots for foot patrol. After five years of use I just ordered a new pair. If they were water proofed I'd give them 5 stars. Ian

Tied for best boot of all time!!!

Ok, I bought a pair of these boots when I was stationed in Okinawa Japan back in 1999. They were not authorized for use in the USMC, but a lot of us wore them anyways. Sturdy boot, comfy as hell, lasted forever. Today I am buying a second pair of these, only because I have beat the hell out of them for the last 6 years. Even though the ones that I am currently wearing (and wear every day to an office job, or when playing in the mud) are beat up, if I put a little elbow grease into it, I can still get them to polish up nice. The only other boot that is this great is the Corcoran II Field Boots. I will never wear another boot again! They get wet here in the rain, but thanks to the mesh, they dry out relativly quick. I love 'em
