U.S. Cavalry Grows Operation to Better Serve Customers

Groundbreaking To Be Held On May 4, 2006

Radcliff, KY (May 04, 2006) - U.S. Cavalry, the world’s leading multi-channel merchant of military, law enforcement and homeland security equipment, proudly announces the development of a new 65,000 square foot warehouse that will serve as the central distribution hub for all U.S. Cavalry sales channels across the globe.

In March 2003, U.S. Cavalry reorganized under new ownership / management with a refocused and updated business strategy. Since then U.S. Cavalry has maintained that focus showing consistent growth and profitability, providing over 100 jobs in Kentucky. That growth and the accompanying increased volume via the internet, mail order, domestic and export government sales, retail stores and dealership sales resulted in the need for product storage space which has rapidly outpaced its current building. The new facility's central location, at the Mill Pond Business Center in Radcliff, Kentucky, will allow more efficient shipping to many of the nation's largest military bases and law enforcement districts throughout the continental United States, as well as customers overseas.

Expected to break ground May 4, 2006, the new warehouse will be anything but ordinary. Thanks in part to state-of-the-art, wireless RF technology, U.S. Cavalry will be able to accurately track merchandise, while warehouse efficiency and order accuracy will result in faster order turn-around and greater customer satisfaction.

The new warehouse will be significantly larger than the current facility, will have considerably increased throughput capacity and will be built with additional future expansion potential as well. The increased storage capabilities of the new building will not only allow U.S. Cavalry to stock more of its core products, but also result in better item availability of popular new merchandise.

While U.S. Cavalry has already invested in cutting-edge customization machinery for the Army's new Combat Uniform, the new facility will also house a special department dedicated to fast and accurate processing of these personalized requests.
