U.S. Cavalry Joins Forces With The Matrix Group In The Fight Against Terrorism

MISTIC Training Initiative Offers Unique Tactical Resources and Facilities

Radcliff, KY (May 14, 2007) - U.S. Cavalry, the worldwide distributor for top-quality duty and service equipment for the Military, Law Enforcement and Homeland Security communities, and the T.E.A.L. (Training, Education and Logistics) Team announce their joint venture partnership with The Matrix Group’s wholly owned subsidiary, MISTIC (Matrix International Security, Training & Intelligence Center) Inc., a counterterrorism, law enforcement and military training company that provides new, unique training opportunities for the law enforcement and military communities.

“We are extremely excited to delve deeper into additional training opportunities to equip our local and international law enforcement and military with the necessary skills to counteract terrorism,” said Dennis Garvey, COO of U.S. Cavalry. “Our joint venture partnership with MISTIC and the facilities and personnel which they bring, along with our ongoing efforts through our T.E.A.L. Team program, provides a dynamic and highly capable team to further strengthen our counterterrorism and tactical training efforts.”

Based in New Mexico, MISTIC is arguably the largest privately operated training site in the continental United States, offering two training centers tailored to specific tactical operations. The first, MAC (MISTIC Airfield Complex), is a 2,500+ acre compound located at the Roswell Industrial Air Center (formerly Walker Air Force Base) in Roswell, New Mexico and features a full-scale Simuniton™ Close Quarters battle village, small arms ranges with computer-controlled target systems, high-speed and off-road track for tactical driving training, a 747 Simuniton™ aircraft for takedown and breaching operations, USAF certified drop zones, and access to a 13,000 foot active runway and secure parking ramps for wide body aircrafts. The other, MRC (MISTIC Range Complex), is a 150,000 acre property that is 45 miles south of the MAC and houses two expeditionary air strips, hangars, explosive ranges, bunkers, 23-mile Live Fire Convoy Counter Ambush Challenge course capable of 270 degrees live fire, multiple firing ranges up to 3,000 meters, and multiple off-road driving/challenge courses.

For the past 20 years, U.S. Cavalry has worked in accordance with the T.E.A.L. (Training, Education and Logistics) Team to provide high-threat law enforcement and security-oriented training and counterterrorism operations to local, state and federal governments. The new addition of the MISTIC programs, with their New Mexico facilities, aids in furthering tactical education and application in the fight against terror.
