I had one of these tomahawks when I was in Vietnam and it was badass. They are not designed to chop wood as your previous review stated, only for killing

Good Head bad body
The Vietnam era Axe has a very solid, however, too many hacks and the wooden handle has a tendancy to break. I learned this the hard way during a field problem in the woods, during the winter. If you plan to cut small slithers of timber, fine. If you plan to eek it out in the wilderness, I'd go for the Gerber or something by far more solid.
